Privacy policy.

How YWAM Impact Philippines collects, uses and protects your information. Last updated 6 November 2026.

Who we are

This website, ywamimpact.org, is run by Youth With A Mission Impact Philippines, Km. 61 Maragondon–Magallanes Road, Maragondon, Cavite 4112, Philippines. We handle personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we collect

When you send us an interest or contact form, we collect the details you enter: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if given), the school or intake you are interested in, and your message. We also record the date of your submission.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address, your first name (if given) and the date you confirmed your subscription.

We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or passwords through this website.

How we use it

  • To reply to you about the school, outreach or partnership you asked about.
  • To guide you through applying, including references and an interview if you continue.
  • To keep a record of enquiries so our team can follow up.
  • To send our newsletter and updates, if you subscribed and confirmed by email.

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. Only YWAM Impact Philippines staff who handle enquiries or send our newsletter can see it.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are saved privately in our website’s database, hosted by Bluehost, and a copy is emailed to our team through our Google Workspace account. Website backups, which include this database, are stored in our Google Drive.

Newsletter subscribers are stored with Brevo, the email service we use to send our newsletter. Brevo is based in France, so your details may be processed outside the Philippines. Brevo records whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, which helps us see what is useful.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to support your application, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours at any time. We keep newsletter subscribers until they unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Cookies and statistics

  • Security: Wordfence uses cookies to protect the site from attacks and to keep logged-in staff secure.
  • Statistics: we use Burst Statistics, which runs on our own server, to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not send your data to advertising networks.
  • Embedded content: some pages show posts from our Instagram account. When these load, Instagram (Meta) may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. You may also withdraw your consent for us to contact you. To stop our newsletter, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email. To do any of these, send us a message through the contact form on our Partner page or call +63 917 114 1867.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, you can also contact the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

Changes

We may update this policy as our website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
